The HOA board would like to invite all members of our community to place one (1) ornament on the Holiday tree within the center of our community. This tree is located at the intersection of Collin Street and Grandview Avenue on the southeastern corner. In coordination with the City of Anna Public Works, we have closed a section of the sidewalk on Dumas Street near the playground. Currently, this area poses risk due to a fall hazard associated with the culvert nearest the new sidewalk installation. We need all residents and visitors of our community to stay away from that section until further notice. For your own safety, please do not move the barriers and cones in this area.

We understand the frustration some of you are feeling with respect to the pool remaining closed. The purpose of this letter is to explain how and why this decision was reached, and why we feel this decision is in the best interest of all owners. Please note this decision was made only after hours of research and deliberation and in accordance with the advice of the Association’s attorney. As many of you know, the pool was initially closed due to mandates issued by Governor Abbott. While pools are now allowed to operate, they are only allowed to do so at 50% capacity, with social distancing and stringent sanitation procedures in place. Governor Abbott’s most recent order also states that pool are not required to open, and that the decision rests with the pool operator. Click Full Story for more information.

The Collin County pool inspector is backlogged due to COVID-19 and we have no ETA as of right now. The board is also communicating with legal and management on the requirements set by the county, CDC, and Governor Abbot regarding pools/splash pads. Because of these factors, we have not been able to set an open date. We will keep you posted.
