Pool Re-Opening

After several visits by our pool maintenance technicians and repeated measurements of our pool chemical levels, we are ready to re-open the pool at noon today, June 4th, 2023. This review also included the City of Anna Code Compliance team which reviewed the chemicals levels and provided approval for our pool to re-open.

In the sense of transparency, this event was caused by improper chemical application by one of the pool maintenance technicians on Friday, June 2nd, 2023. This application caused our chlorine levels to be elevated, which led to testing the chemical levels and subsequently shutting down the pool. Due to several issues with our pool maintenance vendor, 5-Star Pools, over the past few years, the Northpointe Crossing HOA Board of Directors is actively seeking bids from different pool maintenance vendors so that we can replace 5-Star Pools. Until we have made a decision on a new maintenance vendor, 5-Star Pools will continue to service our facility so that we can stay operational.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and hope that our residents can enjoy some time today at our pool before the weekend is over.
