Beaver Trapping Notice

Published: May 26, 2023

The Northpointe Crossing HOA Board of Directors has discovered a beaver den near the detention pond spillway. This spillway is located at the northeast corner of the large detention pond at the southern portion of Elam Drive. These beavers have created a dam and den in this location which is causing issues with the detention pond's ability to drain properly. In order to work through our drainage and overgrowth issues within the detention pond, we need to remove the beavers first.

The Board of Directors has hired a professional beaver trapping team to remove these animals from our property. The removal efforts will include setting camouflaged traps in the spillway area of the detention pond. These traps must not be disturbed and we are asking residents to stay away from this area.

Do not visit the area depicted in the image until further notice. This area will contain several animal traps to capture the beavers. Please ensure you discuss this with all members of your household so everyone is fully aware of the trapping efforts and to stay away from the area.
