Neighborhood Safety
Published: March 12, 2021
Dear Neighbors,
As your dedicated board of directors for Northpointe Crossing HOA, we are reaching out regarding residents’ concerns over recent police incidents in the community.
Emergencies should always be reported to local authorities first and foremost. However, the association encourages residents to report crimes to the board of directors as well, so that we may provide the most accurate information to all residents within our community.
When informed about incidences, such as the DEA search, the board notifies the community accordingly. We reached out to the Anna Police Department for additional information about recent community occurrences and they provided the following statement:
“The safety of our neighbors is priority number one for the police department. We will do everything we can to ensure that Anna remains a safe place to live, work, and play as we move forward.”
- Chief of Police for the City of Anna- Dean Habel
As a reminder, it is the role of law enforcement and local authorities to respond to reports of criminal activity or emergencies in the community. Every resident should act prudently to protect themselves, their property, and their belongings.
